Józef Krzyżański: He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He was a student and assistant of Józef Pankiewicz. He lived in Paris in 1924-1929, co-creating the so-called Paris Committee. From the 1930s, he created in Poznań. He painted mainly landscapes and portraits, also nudes, remaining under the influence of Fauvists and Expressionists. His domain was oil painting. The artist's individual exhibition took place in 1932 at the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts.
