This ring is crafted from 18-karat yellow and white gold (0.720-0.750 fineness). Its centerpiece is a faceted spinel weighing approximately 1.20 ct and in a dark garnet color. Spinel is a rare, precious mineral from the oxide group, chemically a double oxide of magnesium and aluminum.

Additionally, the ring is set with 12 rose-cut diamonds weighing a total of 0.16 ct and four synthetic sapphires in a fanciful shape. Sapphire synthesis began in the early 20th century and became popular in the 1920s and 1930s.

An old gold ring in a geometric Art Deco style.

Origin: probably Austro-Hungarian Empire, first half of the 20th century.

Ring size: 9 (49) - please inquire about resizing.

Very good condition, no imperfections.

A gemological certificate is included with your purchase.
