Janina Nowatnowa (1881-1963) Painter and graphic artist, associated with the artistic circles in Krakow and Lviv. Initially, she studied painting at the courses Baraniecki in Kraków, and then at the State Industrial School in Lviv, she studied graphics under the supervision of Ludwik Tyrowicz. She made artistic trips to Vienna, Lausanne, Paris and Prague. She belonged to the Association of Polish Artistic Painters in Lviv, the Association of Polish Graphic Artists in Krakow, and the Association of Lviv Artists and Designers.
