Alois Binder (Graz 1857 Munich (?) 1933) - Austrian painter, active mainly in Munich. He studied in Graz and at the Munich Academy with Otto Seitz. From 1890 he had an atelier in Munich, and later he also operated in Vienna. He painted atmospheric rural landscapes, cheerful genre scenes, motifs from the Thirty Years' War and portraits.
